Rachel Blanchard

Born in Toronto, Ontario, on March 19, 1976, Rachel Elise Blanchard was recognized for her distinctive looks from a young age. She spent her early school years at Humbercrest Public School before attending Havergal College, an all-girls school. Blanchard then pursued higher education at Queen’s University in Kingston, focusing on psychology. However, her burgeoning acting career led her to leave university.

Blanchard’s introduction to television acting came at the tender age of eight with a role in a McDonald’s commercial. Rachel Blanchard, in her personal life, shares a harmonious marriage with the American composer, Jeremy Turner. The couple’s family expanded with the arrival of their daughter, Maxine. Adding to their family circle is their Bull Terrier, Wilbur.

The Blanchard-Turner family has established their home in California. A lifelong enthusiast of hockey, Blanchard has a history of playing the sport and was once part of a local hockey team.
