Donna D’Errico

Born on March 30, 1968, in Dothan, Alabama, Donna Jeanette D’Errico comes from a lineage enriched with Italian and Polish descent from her father’s side, and English and Irish from her mother’s. She was educated at Pachelli, a private Catholic institution in Georgia, where she first discovered her passion for the performing arts. To hone her skills, her supportive parents enrolled her in “The Groundlings,” an improvisation workshop.

D’Errico’s initial foray into theater came at just 8 years old when she portrayed the Virgin Mary in a nativity play titled “The Birth of Jesus Christ.” After graduating high school, she pursued further education in acting under the tutelage of Stephen Anderson in Los Angeles. In 2005, seeking to deepen her understanding of the craft, she studied playwrighting at Tom Todoroff’s Conservatory in New York. During these formative years, D’Errico not only graced the stage in amateur theater productions but also featured in various magazines, marking the beginning of her journey in the spotlight.

Donna D’Errico gained significant notice following her pictorial in “Playboy” magazine in 1995, marking her pivot towards television with an initial appearance in the sitcom “Unhappily Ever After.” A pivotal moment in her career came the following year when she secured the role of Donna Marco on “Baywatch,” notably featuring in an episode centered around her “Playboy” shoot. 2018 saw D’Errico expanding her repertoire with the inclusion in the ensemble of “9-1-1,” a gripping police drama boasting a cast that included Angela Bassett and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Additionally, she made a memorable appearance in the critically acclaimed “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” 2021 brought her into the realm of science fiction with “Escape from Area 51,” where she portrayed the formidable Sheera. Following this, she joined Bruce Willis in the action-packed “Survive the Game,” continuing to diversify her acting portfolio.

Donna D’Errico’s marital journey with the celebrated rock star Nikki Sixx spanned a decade, enriching their lives with two children: their son Rhyan D’Errico, who pursued a career in music composition, and their daughter Frankie Sixx. Donna instilled Catholic values in her upbringing. The year 2007 marked the end of their marriage through a divorce filing. Post-divorce, D’Errico has maintained a veil over her romantic life, opting to keep such details away from public scrutiny.

Embracing veganism, D’Errico actively champions for animal rights and engages in various philanthropic endeavors. In 2011, she voiced her ambition to tackle Turkey’s Mount Ararat, driven by a lifelong dream to unearth Noah’s Ark’s remnants. Her expedition in 2012, however, was marred by an accident resulting in a fall that temporarily sidelined her from acting.

Her recent involvement includes a significant role in the 2022 romance drama “Frank and Penelope,” under Sean Patrick Flanery’s direction.
