By the age of 20, Sylvia Hoeks came to the realization that her true calling lay in acting. In 2004, she began to grace both the television screen and stage. Her cinematic debut came in 2005 with “Frankie,” where she shared the screen with Diane Kruger, playing the character Rumina. Despite its release, the film didn’t catapult her to widespread fame.
Hoeks’ subsequent cinematic venture was “Duska,” featuring Sergei Makovetsky and Gene Bervoets, where she portrayed the friend of a principal character.
