Born on June 7, 1979, in Melbourne, Australia, Anna Torv grew up in a culturally diverse household. Her mother, Susan Torv, hails from Scotland, while her father, Hans Arvid Torv, has Estonian roots. Alongside her elder brother Dylan, Anna was nurtured in an environment that valued humility and self-respect. Following her parents’ separation when she was six, Anna and her siblings moved with their mother to the Gold Coast.
During her formative years, Anna engaged in a variety of outdoor activities, including surfing, swimming, and hiking, and had a fondness for equestrian pursuits.
